The Eastminster Choir

The Eastminster Choir, directed by Jacqueline Sadler, is a 30-voice choir comprised of four professional soloists: Michelle Piller, soprano; Joy Klopp, alto; Scott Pietrangelo, tenor; Andrew Hodwitz, bass; and a dedicated team of pro-am singers.

SingerMusic is an integral part of our worship. The Eastminster Choir leads sung worship, and presents choral selections to enhance the message of the day. We have eclectic musical tastes, and our repertoire includes everything from Bach to the Beatles, from Mozart to Musical Theatre, Gospel to Glee, and original compositions written especially for the choir by Director of Music, Jacqueline Sadler.

The Eastminster Choir presents concerts, hosts special events, fundraises, and, of course, celebrates together! We are joined together by a love of music, a desire to offer our voices in praise, to increase our musical skills and vocabulary, and above all, to have a good time! (And we do have a good time!!!)

The Eastminster Choir rehearses Thursdays at 7:30 pm in the Sanctuary, and again at 9:30 am in anticipation of the 10:30 am service. We welcome new members. Eastminster Children's Choir

Children from ages 4 to 14 are welcome to join the Children’s Choir. Rehearsals are Thursdays from 6:00 pm to 6:45 pm in the choir room. Parents are welcome to audit the rehearsals, or to take part in other various activities that are offered at the same time. Choristers will learn proper singing techniques, musical instruction, and will present selections in the Sunday morning service and at concerts. Of course, there are snacks!!!

No audition is required.

The children of Eastminster perform the musical, “How does your garden grow?”We approach our music with a flair for the theatrical, and have performed with American Sign Language, kazoos, and a bathtub with bubbles (you had to be there).

This is a great opportunity for musical instruction and a deeper appreciation of music, movement and team work.
