Youth Group

High school-aged youth are invited each Sunday to explore issues of faith and social justice from a young adult perspective.

In the past, Youth Group members have engaged in initiatives such as organizing food drives, tree planting, and volunteering for Out of the Cold and for other activities associated with Eastminster.

The youth of Eastminster are invited to participate fully in the life of the church, drawing on their gifts in weekly worship, as well as preparing and participating in youth- specific services. For the past two seasons, youth members have figured prominently in the annual Christmas Eve presentation.

The teen years are a time to question, to search, and to discover. It is the job of the church to be compassionate and authentic, to listen, and to help our youth find their voice, their answers, and their path in an increasingly complex world.
