Weekly worship services are held at 10:30 a.m. on Sundays. Our worship style strives to be relaxed and welcoming – respectful of cherished traditions, but decidedly contemporary and unafraid to try new things. Above all, we aim to make worship open and accessible and to keep fresh a message that remains relevant and meaningful in the 21st century.
Expect engaging and thought-provoking sermons. Rev. Sarah Miller does not shy away from giving context and comment to the timeless challenges of Christian faith, as well as to the complex issues of the day.
Expect exceptional music that will inspire, uplift, or allow for reflection. Under the direction of Scott Pietrangelo and Hilary Seraph Donaldson expect a wide range of musical genres – traditional church music, classical, pop, jazz, rock, and gospel — maybe even a little music theatre – supplied by in-house musicians and guests, our accomplished 30-voice Eastminster choir, and our growing Children’s choir.
Babies and children are welcome to stay throughout service as long as child and care-giver are comfortable. If you choose, during service there is also nursery care available for children from infancy to senior kindergarten. Children (Grades 1 – 6) are invited to partake in church school activities after the children’s time in service. Youth (Grades 7 – 10) are warmly invited to attend youth group during the service.
