Church School

On Sundays, children (Grades K -8) are invited to Church School following the Children’s Time during worship. From approximately 10:45 to 11:30 am, the children are engaged in activities that stimulate their imaginations and help them to better understand what it means to live fully in God’s world.

We recently introduced the Piece by Piece curriculum, a modular theme-based approach to building a ministry program for children and young teens. Cathy Fairley, creator of Piece by Piece, says about the program: "I try to create an environment where children will develop their relationship with God.  I want to do more than help them to learn facts, dates, rules and stories.  I want them to have experiences that will help them not just to know about God and Jesus but to truly know Him.  There is a difference!"  Explore the web site at www.pbpresources.com.

Church School is led by a dedicated team of volunteer lay people and ministry personnel. They are committed to acknowledging the unique gifts each child brings and to enabling each child to share and develop his or her gifts in an environment that is compassionate, nurturing, and accepting.
